TERMS AND CONDITIONS applicable to the sale of goods by Cakes of Good Taste
We`ve worked hard to make our Terms and Conditions as clear as possible. When you purchase from Cakes of Good Taste you enter into a contract and this document details our responsibilities to you.
1. Your Account
If you use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner.
2. Ordering
You place the order for your products on the Website by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website.       By completing and submitting the electronic order form you are making an offer to purchase goods that, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. A binding contract will only result when we have notified you that your goods have been despatched.
All products are subject to the manufacturer`s availability. In the case of item/s being unavailable Cakes of Good Taste will contact you to offer alternative products or provide you with a full refund.
Once an order has been despatched we cannot change the delivery address from that originally stated on the order.      Orders will not be processed until the customer`s funds have cleared in full.
We cannot be held responsible for delays within the postal system beyond our reasonable control i.e. strike action.
All transactions will be carried out in Sterling.
3. Prices and Descriptions of Products
All prices on Cakes of Good Taste are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% (where applicable).
Orders to those countries and regions (outside the EU)  that are exempt from paying VAT are handled manually and a confirmation email showing prices with the VAT removed shall sent to the customer prior to order processing.
Prices do not include delivery. Delivery is charged separately as applicable.
All payment is made in British Pounds Sterling. Your bank may impose charges for currency conversion if you do not hold funds in Pounds Sterling.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the website as up to date as possible, the information appearing on this website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.
4. Delivery
On receipt of your order we shall confirm an expected delivery date, we aim to despatch all orders within 24 hours subject to stock availability.  However, we cannot guarantee delivery times by our couriers, other than for the next day delivery service. Delivery to addresses on islands or in remote areas of the UK mainland, may take longer than our usual (UK) delivery times.
Items that are available will be dispatched within 24 hours.  For items that are not in stock we shall inform the customer by email of the expected availability of the items.
We reserve the right not to deliver orders if we believe the address is not secure, for example, to a communal postal address (e.g. hotels or accommodation) or PO Box. If this affects an order you place, we will notify you as soon as possible.
We can only deliver to a single delivery address per order. If you wish goods to be delivered to two separate addresses, you will need to complete two separate orders.
5. Returns policy
We hope you will be satisfied with your purchase but if you do wish to exchange any items or return them for a refund then we ask you to contact us within 14 days of receipt of the goods. Provided the goods are returned to us in an unused, new condition, with the original undamaged packaging, we will fully refund the price of the item. Postage costs will be refunded on faulty goods only. They will not be refunded for exchanged or unwanted items.
Cakes of Good Taste operates a rapid replacement or no-quibble money-back guarantee for any products found to be faulty. Please first contact Cakes of Good Taste by phone on 020 8950 8207 or by email to: cakesofgoodtaste.co.uk so that arrangements can be made for products to be returned to us wherever possible with their original packaging. Cakes of Good Taste will reimburse you with the postage costs of the return of the faulty goods.
Unfortunately we can not offer exchanges on any edible items. Due to the delicate nature of sugar flowers and chocolate roses we are unable to offer refunds for damaged goods on arrival. These goods are EXTREMELY well packaged and reports of even minor damage have been minimal.
6. Entire Agreement
These Conditions govern our relationship with you. Any changes to these Conditions must be in writing and signed by both parties. In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what Cakes of Good Taste and you are expected to do. You confirm that these Conditions supersede any others that may have been implied.
If any part of the Conditions shall be deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the Conditions.
Each provision of the Conditions shall be accepted as separately applying even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable.
The limitations and exclusions in this clause do not affect your non-excludable statutory rights and only apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
7. Law
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England with respect to the Conditions.
